INSIGHT FROM YOUR WISE PRINCIPAL, MR. WAYNE FOLKES
Stay tuned for VIDEO BONUS COVERAGE
Q: What is your most memorable childhood memory?
A: I guess there are many. One is when I tied my cousins to a horse and made it run through a pasture with them tied to the saddle. No, really, just get togethers with the whole family at my grandparents’ house and family vacations to Washington, D.C. and the beach.
Q: If a warrior and a wild mustang got into a fight, who would win?
A: Of course we know who would win! It’d be a valiant effort by the wild mustang, but the warrior would take it in the end. I’d pull for the warrior at the end, and it’d be a tough fight, but the mustang would finally give in in the end.
Q: If you could be anything besides a principal, what would you be?
A: Well I’ve thought about that several different times. I’d be a greeter at a museum in Washington, D.C. with the Declaration of Independence and see the excitement of people coming to our nation’s capital. I’m a people- person, so something in the people-person industry.
Q: Who do you think will win the BCS Football National Championship?
A: ROLL TIDE ROLL! I do think Bama has it going on this year. LSU vs. Alabama this week is going to be huge. I’ve always been a Hotty Toddy and USM fan, but Bama will pull it out.
Q: If you were going to be stranded on a desert island, what three things would you take?
A: Well of course I’d want to take care of myself with water, food, and shelter, but going beyond that I would want my wife, family, and the Good Book.
